If your kids are in sports or outdoor activities then make them wear the right equipments during their play or activity. Always wash the wound or cut with soap water or antiseptic lotion. Apply adhesive bandage or gauge on the cut or wound. If the cut is really deep then seek the doctor. You or the kid might need stitches on it. Are you Looking for "the Best Acne Treatment"?

I'm suffering from acne since higschool and I have already graduated from college, still I have problems on acne. I've tried do many ways, including facial treatment, Not DERMA treatment because it's too expensive. I've also tried Proactive Solution but it doesn't work for me. Sometimes may acne fades but acne marks or scars remains for a very long time until I'm going to have acne again and my marks just keeps on increasing in number. Now, i really want to end this.

I did my research until I came up on Roaccutane (Isotretinoin), I became intrigued by this medication because I heard many good reviews about it. BUT it has also negative reviews. Side effects are common to those who took this drug. I'll be posting about Roaccutane in my future post. It was also said that dermatologists uses this medication as a LAST Resort. Meaning, you've tried different medications, including topical and others and nothing really works. PLUS you have really severe acne. I'm not placing my acne status on severe, cause I know how severe acne looks like. I could say that my acne is in slightly moderate status. But still, who don't want a clear skin? And who does want acne on their faces??? I did a lot of research on how to get rid of acne. Until I got into something that interests me. This self treatment is safe and a must try for me. Want to know my treatment as of now? I've tried this for about 5 days now, i plan on giving reports every week or every two weeks. Watch out and I'll be sharing this treatment on my next post.

Beauty Tips: Different Natural Facial Masks to Choose from

i find this different natural facial masks that you can do at home.

The kind of the mask you want to use depends on your skin type.

For dry skin, try:

  • an egg yolk mixed with olive oil and warmed honey
  • sour cream
  • plain olive oil
  • avocado

For oily skin:

  • dissolve a teaspoon of baking yeast in a small amount of warm milk, wait until foamy, then apply (best done in the bath tub);
  • puree flesh of a tomato and mix with some potato flour to make a paste;
  • cucumber (it will whiten your skin);
  • beaten egg whites with a few drops of lemon juice (great for getting rid of blackheads);
  • carrots (but don't use this one more than about every other week because it can overdry your skin). This one will make you look tanned.

General refreshing masks:

  • grapes (just cut a berry in half and rub lightly)
  • strawberries (test behind your ear first, because many people are allergic to strawberries  used this way even though they can eat them just fine)
  • honey and ricotta cheese

Many fruits and vegetables can also be used to good effect. Anything acidic (lemon, strawberries, etc) will tend to whiten and refresh your skin, but you need to be careful if your skin is dry.

In general, don't apply masks more often than about twice a week, and try to vary the ingredients.

It is a good idea to test the mask first. Apply a small amount behind your ear, wait 20 minutes, then wash off. Then wait 24 hours. If the skin behind your ear is normal, then go ahead and use the mask.

Chapped Lips - Dry Lips

A beautiful smile lights up a day. It makes your face more beautiful and lively. Your lips are the most important and exquisitely sensitive part of your body. And therefore you have to take special care of your lips. Soft and smooth lips figure among the foremost indicators of physical beauty. The skin on lips lack oil glands; hence they tend to get dry and cracked easily. You have to take special care of your lips to maintain its requisite moisture level. Your lips need special attention during winter.

We all more or less suffer from dry and chapped lips, especially during the winter months. Your lips are very sensitive to sun, dry indoor climate, wind and cold weather. Since our lips don't produce fat, they get dry and chapped. That's why you should apply fat during the day. Chapped lips can be a sign of fever or bronchitis, but may also be caused by lack of fluid. You should drink enough water during the day, up to two liters per day. Coffee is dehydrating, so don't count the coffee into the two liters.

Lips are one of the most exposed areas of our skin. Lips have an extremely thin outer layer and few oil-producing glands, which can lead to excessive dryness. They also contain very little melanin and, without protection, can quickly become burnt. The sun can also impact the collagen in your lips. Collagen is a protein that prevents wrinkle development around the lips. Constant exposure to the sun can lead to undesirable and premature aging. And remember, the sun can be just as harmful during the winter months as it is during the summer months. The most important step you can take to achieving the healthiest lips ever is to protect them from the sun. The best protection against sun damage is a water resistant lip balm that keeps lips moist and has an SPF of 15 percent or higher. Extreme weather can also lead to chapped and flaking lips.
